ABPA processes more than 150,000 benefit payments per month. We can issue paper checks, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and payments through debit cards. Our processes have multiple levels of reconciliation, verification and security built-in to protect the Trust Funds. For example, we use positive pay files for all paper checks to ensure security. If we make payments using paper checks, we process the checks using blank check stock, which is Laser and MICR encoded. EFTs are protected using industry standard encryption methods.
